2023 VVJ Membership
As a member of Van Vogue Jam, you are supporting our initiative to build and sustain the Vogue/Ballroom scene within the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. VVJ’s members are a group of folks, invested in developing a strong community collectively, with a common interest in Vogue/Ballroom culture and VVJ’s initiatives.
How long is a membership valid for?
Your membership is valid for the calendar year (January - December), your purchase/donation was made in.
For example, if you purchases membership on February 28, 2023, your membership is valid until December 31, 2023 or you purchases membership on November 15, 2023, your membership remains valid until December 31, 2023.
Why does Van Vogue Jam want members?
VVJ is a registered non-profit organization. Members are an integral part of what we do. As a member, you have a say in ensuring our programming, initiatives, financial spending and purpose is meeting the needs of the members collectively.
Annual General Meeting
An AGM is a yearly gathering of a company's interested shareholders. At an AGM, the directors of the company present an annual report containing information for members about the organization's performance and strategy.
As a member of the fiscal year for which we’re reporting on, you will hear about VVJ’s financial reports, you may run for board candidacy, help vote in new board members (if applicable) and learn more about what VVJ does organizationally and upcoming programming!
Each member receives one vote for our AGM.
Next Annual General Meeting will be between January - March 2024
